Role: Physiotherapist - Sub Acute Facility, Dublin 12

TTM Healthcare are currently looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Physiotherapist for our clients on a Full Time Permanent basis, for the opening of their new state-of-the-art sub-acute facility located on Parnell Road in Dublin 12. Our clients have been leading operators of Nursing Homes through Ireland for the last two decades, who are dedicated to providing quality care through innovation and continuous growth.
Duties:
1. Assess and analyze the effect of illness, disability, injury and inactivity on the functional ability of individual residents.
2. Assess individual residents with actual or potential impairments or other health-related conditions.
3. Develop and regularly review an individual treatment plan for each resident.
4. Implement selected interventions safely to relieve pain; achieve and maintain mobility, health and fitness, functional independence and physical performance; and manage the identified impairments, disabilities and limits to participation.
5. Utilize exercise, movement, mobilization and other appropriate treatments in the Nursing Home setting with a view to maximizing resident mobility and well-being.
6. Assist residents with joint and spinal problems including following surgery.
7. Assist residents' rehabilitation following accidents, injury and strokes.
8. Evaluate the health status of each individual resident through the use of appropriate measurable outcomes.
9. Create and promote good working relationships with colleagues, residents and family members.
10. Actively participate in and promote continuing education and research activities.
11. Maintain appropriate records and statistics sufficient for organizational and legal purposes.
12. Generate regular reports to senior management team.
13. Liaise with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about the background and progress of patients.
Essential Criteria:
1. Three years of post-registration experience.
2. A minimum of one year in the care of the elderly.
3. Must be registered with CORU.
