Location/Office Policy: Hybrid – Minimum of two days a week in our office in Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18.
What is the Role:
The role sits in the Financial Crime Advisory team, which is part of the first line of defence, with the aim of enabling and supporting business areas in managing their financial crime risks and obligations in line with AIB Policy and Standards. The primary focus of the role will be supporting the advisory managers in the fulfilment of the training objectives and the provision of Financial Crime Advice and guidance to our stakeholders. This will include collaborating with business areas to coordinate, schedule and facilitate the delivery of training modules on a variety of topics to a range of audiences.
Key accountabilities:
* Supporting the design and delivery of training modules to business areas and the wider Financial Crime team.
* Providing practical support and advice on financial crime related issues, to the first line business areas, through the AML Advisory mailbox.
* Supporting the implementation of changes to procedures resulting from gap analysis, risk assessment, audit/assurance testing, regulatory change and other out of course events.
* Supporting business units, strategic projects and working groups with advice on financial crime, so that they can fulfil their obligations and manage risk appropriately.
* Supporting the completion of gap analysis exercises to ensure that procedures and controls align with the Bank’s most up to date financial crime policy and standards.
* Engaging with multiple stakeholders to obtain input into the development of solutions to financial crime issues.
* Organising meetings, working groups and engagements to ensure that change is delivered with the appropriate governance applied.
