As a core member of the Citco Bank Project Management Office (PMO), and reporting to the Head of Bank PMO, the Business Project Manager is part of a global team who are responsible for project delivery within the Bank. This role will entail working with Business stakeholders to initiate structured projects that adhere to Best Practice project management methodologies.
Your Role:
Work closely with Business teams, IT development & QA teams to manage successful project delivery within the constraints of timeline, scope and budget.
Track & coordinate all activities from a project lifecycle perspective including Project Discovery, Project Initiation/ Start-up, Project Implementation/ Execution and Project Closure.
Maintain all project management artifacts for projects per the Citco Bank PMO Manual.
Experience building comprehensive project Business Cases in collaboration with Business Stakeholders.
Manage project stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively and frequently.
Interact with software development teams using continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
Facilitate regular status updates to key stakeholders, including senior management to provide visibility of status, risks and issues.
Interact with resources across Citco Bank teams such as Payment Ops, Treasury Front & Back Office, Risk Management, KYC, Compliance, Legal, Tax and Business Development.
Interact with the IT development team along with the QA team for software dependencies.
Utilize your strong coaching and mentorship skills in order to build a collaborative, productive, and engaged team environment.
Help break down organizational silos and promote collaborations.
About You:
2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a financial services environment.
Project Management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) are a significant advantage but not essential.
Knowledge and experience of Waterfall and/ or Agile methodologies.
Strong experience using MS Project or other project management software.
Past experience using JIRA and Confluence
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the following competencies: project management, information technology, creativity, business analysis, data analytics, problem solving, project risk management, change/release management, multi-tasking and service management
Demonstrated strong proficiency in interpersonal/communication skills including oral and written English.
Effective at planning and organizing, in order to set priorities and coordinate projects to meet deadlines within a fast pace environment.
Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations.
Ability to work independently in a self-sufficient manner, and also to work collaboratively within a team structure – as the project demands.
