They are known for their focus on helping businesses grow, manage risks, and navigate complex challenges.Role Overview: As a Principal Consultant (Market Access), you will be expected to be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in revenue generation and deep expertise in global market access strategy, pricing, and reimbursement within the biotech, pharmaceutical, and CRO sectors. You will play a critical role in advising clients across the globe, developing strategic solutions, and leading high-impact engagements.Key Responsibilities:Lead and deliver global market access strategy projects for biotech, pharmaceutical, and CRO clients, ensuring high-quality execution and impactful recommendations.Develop and implement pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies to support product commercialization and optimize market entry.Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on revenue generation, client satisfaction, and business development.Engage with key stakeholders including health authorities, payers, regulatory bodies, and KOLs to shape access strategies and navigate market entry challenges.Drive thought leadership, publishing insights, participating in industry panels, and representing the company at global conferences.Mentor and lead project teams, fostering a high-performance culture and developing future talent within the organization.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including commercial strategy, HEOR, and regulatory affairs, to provide integrated solutions for clients.Support business growth initiatives, identifying and securing new opportunities to expand our global market access practice.Qualifications:8+ years of experience in market access, pricing, and reimbursement within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry.Proven revenue responsibility, with a track record of successfully winning and delivering high-value consulting engagements.Strong knowledge of global market access landscapes, including HTA submissions, payer negotiations, and pricing strategies across major markets (EU, US, APAC, LATAM).Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with experience interacting with senior executives, payers, and regulatory bodies.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex market access strategies clearly.Advanced degree in life sciences, health economics, public health, or a related field preferred.For more information please contact akil.walton@discoverinternational.comSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales, Consulting, and Business DevelopmentIndustriesBusiness Consulting and Services, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Biotechnology Research
