The role will involve liaising with the design and sales teams, contracts team, suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and procurement teams to ensure that competitive tenders are delivered on schedule and in accordance with the tender requirements. As a dynamic and progressive company, we encourage our employees to be ambitious and forward thinking so if you are seeking continued growth and have a drive to progress within an organisation Veolia Ireland can offer you career enhancement opportunities and the learning and development supports to achieve your goals.Duties of the Role include; Liaise with the S&M technicians for details on quotes required from the site.Input the details into concept and put together the quote to be sent to Veolia's client's Liaise with our senior tenderer or design team if required Obtaining competitive quotations for equipment and undertaking commercial negotiations with vendors; Managing sub-contractors and ensuring that all costs and responsibilities are clearly apportioned and documented; Completion of non-technical aspects of tender submission including,preparing tender submissions, etc. Update cost sheets from preferred suppliers Required skills for this role; 1-2 years' experience in a service and maintenance department Experience dealing with local authorities Interest in water and wastewater treatment industry and/or tendering, proposals or sales Self-motivated, highly organized and efficient Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment industry (preferred) Excellent IT skills Good attention to detail Team player and ability to work on own initiative Please note:If you are an EU/EEA national, you will be asked to show proof of right to work in Ireland.If you are a non-EU/EEA national, you will require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.Information on legislation and guides to the procedures in relation to obtaining greencard permits ,work permits, spousal/dependant permits is available on the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation website.
