The Role As Managing Director, you will have full responsibility for the strategic direction and operational management of the Irish subsidiary.
Reporting directly to the executive board at the groups headquarters, you will oversee sales, service, and customer-focused activities while driving sustainable growth in revenue and market share.
The role requires a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on management skills to ensure excellence in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market penetration across Ireland.
Build and strengthen sales channels, with a particular focus on direct sales and strategic partnerships.
Identify new market opportunities and oversee the development of customised sales concepts.
Maintain and expand the customer base, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled professionals, ensuring their ongoing development.
Optimise organisational processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Manage budgets, revenue targets, and cost structures, ensuring financial performance.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Oversee marketing initiatives, including planning and execution of targeted campaigns.
Collaborate closely with the groups headquarters to align local and global strategies.
About You We are seeking a results-oriented leader with a passion for driving growth and innovation.
You will bring: A technical background complemented by strong commercial acumen or vice versa.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in selling technical products or solutions to industrial clients.
A proven track record in managing and growing a business, with a focus on sales and customer engagement.
Strong leadership skills, including team development and performance management.
A strategic mindset combined with the ability to deliver operational excellence.
Knowledge of Irish employment law and contract negotiation.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire both customers and team members.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
