Your Work Schedule:
1. Monday: 9:00am-5pm
2. Tuesday: 9:00am-5pm
3. Wednesday: 9:00am-5pm
4. Thursday: 8:30am-4pm
5. Friday: 9:00am-5pm
Your Role as a Hygiene Assistant: As a Hygiene Assistant, you’ll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You’ll prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist/dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and take proper documentation of the patients' visit.
* Record and review patients’ health history, make chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and assure completion of all necessary forms and signatures needed.
* Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health.
* Work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients.
* Communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
* Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
* 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
* Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
* Current CPR certification.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
