Finance Manager Role
This is the ideal step forward for those who have worked in a multinational company, having trained in Big 4 originally and want to progress into people management.
About the Role
You will manage a local team of 4 and provide technical accounting oversight to a broader team of up to 10. Reporting to a department head in the U.S., you will be a local finance leader in the Galway office where you can shape and influence the future direction of the company locally.
Key Responsibilities
* Monthly and annual financial reporting and global gross margin analysis.
* Provide technical guidance to a team of 10 globally on gross margin calculations and accounting.
* Ensure strong internal controls and compliance procedures are in place.
* Review the work of your team on statutory financial statements for a number of countries and engage with auditors on same.
People Leadership
You will work with your team on career development plans and utilise the suite of training available in the organisation to upskill your team.
Requirements
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), ideally qualified in Big 4 with subsequent multinational company industry experience.
What We Offer
* A remuneration package of €75,000-€80,000 including a competitive base salary, health insurance, pension contributions, share options and hybrid working.
