PUNCH Consulting Engineers have an exciting new opportunity for a Bid Administrator within the Administration Department. The role offers flexibility to work from any of our Irish offices.
Job Description
* Tender Bid Submissions: Assist with the production of tender submission documents for new project bids in support of the Administration Manager, including liaising directly with the Project Director/Project Manager.
* Marketing documentation and administration: General input into the running of the company tender submission process and preparation of marketing material using InDesign software.
* Social Media input: Contribute to the company's social media function on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms.
* New Staff Orientation: Assist with the orientation of new staff members.
* Quality Systems administration: Assist with the compilation of monthly data sheets, holiday charts, environmental records, and quality management systems administration.
* General Office Administration: Provide general office administration support and perform other ad-hoc office duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications
* University Degree: Hold a degree from a recognized university and have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an office environment in a similar role.
* Tender bid submissions: Experience with tender bid submissions is preferable.
* InDesign software: Familiarity with InDesign software is desirable.
* IT Proficiency: Possess a high level of IT proficiency, including MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
* Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
* Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take ownership of tasks.
* Time Management: Highly organized with excellent time management and deadline-oriented skills.
* Commercial awareness: Understand the importance of quality and accuracy in the tender process and possess commercial awareness.
* Flexibility: Demonstrate a flexible, positive, and proactive mindset and ability to engage with numerous stakeholders.
Working Hours and Remuneration
A 5-day week, circa 24 hours per week, is preferred. PUNCH operates a hybrid working environment.
