Once on board we nurture and promote talented individuals, making sure that senior positions are open to all.DISCOVER THE ROLEThe primary role is to assist the UKI Compliance Lead in ensuring that the wider UKI Company maintains the appropriate systems and controls to meet the regulatory requirements under its authorisation as a Trust and Company Service Provider (HMRC & DoJ), and under the recently established Fund Administrator License (CBI).
The Risk & Compliance Officer will be required to assist the UKI Compliance Lead in ensuring compliance with a number of regulatory compliance matters and support in the development and roll out of a risk framework within the market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Take responsibility for management and operation of the Risk function and report to the board of the newly established fund administrator on risk matters in line with PCF-14 responsibilities,Satisfy fitness and propriety, conduct standards and minimum competency standards as required by the Central Bank,Assist with outstanding risk & compliance issues/queries for client facing staff, clarifying requirements, and ensuring timely resolution/escalation where necessary,Co-ordinate and supervise compliance onboarding, ongoing monitoring and exits with relevant service delivery colleagues, providing advice and support as needed,Monitor review tasks and audit actions, and conduct periodic reviews of client mandates alongside the relevant client facing staff,Assist in preparation and delivery of reports to the Board, Senior Management Regulators and Group Compliance on compliance/risk issues, including new client approvals, monitoring of client acceptance review tasks, suspicious transaction reporting and any AML/CFT upstream changes and other key risks which require monitoring,Review emerging regulations with a view to completing gap analysis against relevant TMF UKI policies and procedures,Assist the TMF UKI Compliance Lead in developing and maintaining a risk framework, to monitor operational and regulatory risks across the market,Support the UKI Compliance Lead in developing the risk and compliance framework within new service lines,Support in delivery of AML/CFT training to employees across the business; and KEY REQUIREMENTS Relevant degree qualification, e.g.
Law, Business, Economics, Finance, or relevant and demonstrable business experience is desirable,Minimum 7 years' experience within a similarly regulated business (CBI / DoJ or equivalent),Demonstratable experience of developing risk/compliance frameworks within a regulated/semi-regulated environment,Experience of developing or working within a risk framework,In-depth knowledge of EU/Irish AML Regulation and Guidance,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders; and WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU 21 days of annual leave plus an additional day per year until it reaches 25 days.
