Role Title: Group Inventory Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Group Inventory Manager to play a key role in our operations.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be part of the Operations Team, liaising with other departments as necessary, to ensure seamless inventory management across our organization.
Core Responsibilities
* Vendor Management: Developing strong relationships with vendors to source high-quality products at competitive prices.
* Inventory Levels: Collaborating with the Operations Team to ensure adequate stock levels for projected sales.
* Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data to guarantee the accuracy of stock records.
Key Duties
* Developing in-depth knowledge of our procurement categories, including raw materials, packaging, retail/private label merchandise, consumables, equipment, and facilities.
* Maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet projected sales demands.
* Ensuring all inventory locations/outlets are adequately stocked at all times.
* Liaising with relevant departments to lead regular inventory management meetings and review stock records.
* Compliance with HACCP and regulatory requirements for inventory handling and storage.
* Review and approval of inventory adjustments.
* Overseeing warehouse and stock location upkeep, including regular storage checks.
* Liaising with vendors to maintain professional relationships.
* Implementing systems for accurate entry of goods-in, returns, inter-branch transfers, and other stock movements.
* Producing slow-moving stock reports, monitoring BBD, and implementing effective stock rotation systems.
* Coordinating inbound logistics operations and introducing process improvements.
* Driving continuous improvement in inventory management to ensure lean and robust processes, budget control, and adequate storage locations.
* Coordinating monthly stock taking procedures and generating relevant reports.
* Serving as the primary point of contact for stock-related periodic and annual external auditors.

* Experience working within a visitor attraction or similar venue.
* Background in wholesale and distribution-based sales businesses.
