Responsibilities:
11. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the wastewater treatment sector, transforming insights into actionable strategies.
12. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive market penetration, expand the customer base, and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
13. Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers, influencers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.
14. Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and networking events, ensuring strong visibility and fostering new business opportunities.
15. Source and qualify leads through cold-calling, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline.
16. Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, technical presentations, and demonstrations to meet customer needs.
17. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product development, to align efforts and ensure seamless customer experiences.
18. Negotiate and close high-value contracts, consistently meeting or exceeding sales and profitability objectives.
19. Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
20. Support commercial activities such as marketing initiatives, promotional material development, and participation in global company events.
21. Manage CRM updates, sales reporting, and administrative tasks to drive operational efficiency and strategic improvements.
What You Bring:
22. Based in Mainland Europe, preferably Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, or Portugal .
23. At least 5 years of proven success in B2B sales, ideally in the wastewater treatment or related industry.
24. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and tasks effectively.
25. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in all processes and documentation.
26. Fluent English, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Additional European languages are a strong advantage.
27. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
28. Comprehensive knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies, equipment, and biological processes.
29. A collaborative mindset, working effectively with internal departments to achieve results.
