Job Description The Press Office Lead will manage MetroLinks press office and ensure effective communication with the media, employees and the public.
The role involves developing and implementing communication strategies, managing media relations and creation of press releases, statements and other communication materials.
The role holder is responsible for the development and delivery of external public events and market engagement events on behalf of the programme.
Additionally, the Press Office Lead will coordinate the internal communications team to produce engaging content for various media platforms.

PrepareandcurateresponsestoPQs,FOIandEIArequests inconjunctionwithTIIRegulatory and Administration Department.
PreparebriefingnotesforGovernmentDepartmentsandrelevantMinisters.
DevelopandexecutestrategicPublicRelationscampaigns.
Overseethecreationofpressreleases,statementsandothercommunicationsstrategies.
Overseetheimplementationofinternalcommunicationstrategiestoensureconsistentand effective messaging across the organisation.
WorkcloselywiththeDirectorofCorporateCommunicationstosupportinternaland external communication matters across MetroLink.
Leadandmanagethepressofficeteam,providingcleardirection,supportanddevelopment opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the press office team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Ensure that all communication is consistent with MetroLinks brand and messaging guidelines.
Create and oversee MetroLinks social media plans including internal and external content creation.

Analyseandreportonengagementdataandanalyticstointerpretandinform communications decisions.
Evaluatetheeffectivenessofcommunicationstrategies.
