Job Description:
We are expanding our Global Sustainability team and looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join the existing Climate Action Team as part of the Global Sustainability Department.
Sustainability is the business opportunity for CRH to realize its full potential and reinvent the way our world is built. The team's aim is to support the development of a decarbonization strategy to enable CRH to adapt ahead of time to shifts in the external environment and continue to deliver sustained value-creating growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Analysis & Management
o Data Collection and Management: Gather, clean, and organize relevant sustainability data from various sources.
o Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods, data visualization tools, and predictive analytics to assess internal and external data and identify trends, correlations, and patterns.
o Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Development and Reporting: Create and track KPIs to measure sustainability performance and progress towards goals.
* Roadmap Development
o Roadmap Management: Contribute to the development of roadmaps and action plans to achieve sustainability goals.
o Sustainability Strategy: Participate in the development and implementation of the company's overall sustainability strategy.
o Goal Setting: Assist in setting measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) sustainability goals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environment, sustainability, business, engineering, science, or economics.
* Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, perhaps in a consulting organization as a business or finance analyst or equity analyst.
* Highly numerate, with an analytical mindset.
* Good system capabilities and excellent knowledge of Office 365 programs.
* Fluency in English written and oral communication.
* Willingness to travel internationally from time to time depending on task needs.
