We now have more than 100 people in Dublin focused on the Irish market, part of a multinational workforce of more than 15,500.Reporting LineThe Services and Operations Director reports to the Managing Director within Ayvens Ireland. The Services & Operations Director is a member of the board of Directors within Ayvens Ireland.Scope of responsibilitiesThe Services & Operations Director is responsible for RMT (Repair, Maintenance & Tyres), Driver and Customer Services, Procurement, Insurance & Accident Management, Supplier Management & KCAT (Key Commercial Accounts Team).ResponsibilitiesMaximise efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.Analyse current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.Work with senior management team to develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of both local and global programs and implement process improvements to maximise output and minimise costs.Collaborate with senior managers in the development of individuals performance goals and long-term operational plans.Adhere to the company’s policies, procedures and reporting requirements and ensure regulatory obligations are being met.Experience in vehicle, indirect and ancillary services procurement and supplier relationship management.Managing supplier negotiations, contracts and ensuring compliance with group processes and procedures.Working independently to drive value in terms of income generation, cost savings and other efficiency savings.Management of third-party suppliers and outsourced partners.Managing purchasing (order to delivery process).Skills Requirement10+ years of professional experience in areas of automotive, fleet and or leasing or experience in a related field are required. The majority of which preferably are in the automotive / leasing sector.At least 5+ years of leadership and people management experience in a similar size organisation.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field.Masterful organisational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.Exceptional negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.Experience in developing budgets, forecasting and creating business plans.Superior knowledge of multiple automotive related operational functions and principles, including technical knowledge/experience, customer service, procurement, body repair, insurance and supplier management.Strong working knowledge of industry requirements and regulatory guidelines.Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.Customer driven with the ability to deal and build relationships with individuals at all levels of the business and to be seen as approachable and willing to get involved.Ability to make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions that support accomplishment of organisational goals.Capacity to build a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork.To applyPlease send a cover letter and an up-to-date CV to hr@leaseplan.ie.This role will be advertised internally & externally.
