The Institute of Education is seeking a “Part-time School Manager” to lead the management of the successful part-time tuition offering.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for the weekly management and delivery of part-time classes and courses throughout the full year.

The Role
The Institute of Education is recruiting a “Part-Time School Manager.” The successful candidate will lead the weekly management of our part-time school and assume full responsibility for the delivery of weekly classes and short courses, as well as the management of the part-time school teaching staff. The role will be primarily based at our school campus on Leeson Street, Dublin 2.
Key Responsibilities:
Teacher Management
1. Regular teacher review meetings (feedback).
2. Quality control of content review of notes/resources.
3. Department management (across multiple subjects and year groups).
4. Managing teacher absence effectively, ensuring all classes and courses are taught.
5. Regular effective communication (e.g., emails/casual meetings).
6. Oversee the provision of courses in satellite schools (Killester & Westmanstown).
7. Feedback surveys.
8. Peer review classes.
Student and Parent Engagement
1. General communication.
2. Feedback (student surveys).
3. Follow up and resolutions to issues, complaints, and absences.
4. Monitor student attendance.
5. Provide a highly visible presence during classes and courses.

Key Requirements:
1. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in teaching/teaching management in a school/college.
2. Prior experience working with senior management.
3. A minimum of 5 years experience in a people management role.
