The Role:
* Develop and execute a commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the life sciences sector.
* Lead efforts to secure new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
* Recruit, mentor, and manage a business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery.
* Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
* Create and manage budgets for business development initiatives and monitor KPIs to track performance.
* Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and establish connections.
* Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive long-term business success.
Skills & Experience required:
* 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within the life sciences or logistics industries, with a proven track record of securing business and achieving targets.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing successful teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for the life sciences sector.
