Professionally Qualified Social Work Team Leader Full Time Post Childrens Disability Network Team Ballymun This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Work Team Leader to support children and their families, presenting with complex needs arising from a combination of intellectual, physical, and/or sensory disabilities.
The Social Work team Leader is a valuable member of the Childrens Disability Network Team who provide quality evidence based service in line with family centred practice and Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles.
The Team Leader will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and will also provide clinical supervision to social workers on the team.

St Michaels House have four Childrens Disability Network Teams, each team has a Social Work Team Leader attached, and this offers opportunity for peer support and promotion of innovated Social Work practice in the organisation.
This permanent post is assigned to the Ballymun Childrens Disability Network Team, located in the HSE Ballymun Primary Care office.
The successful candidate must have the following: Essential criteria: Degree or Masters in Social Work or equivalent National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) Be fully registered with CORU 5 years post qualification experience.
Expert assessment, clinical and reflective skills to meet the needs of the children and families supported by the CDNT Be committed to the delivery of high quality, person-centred, community-based services Experience of providing clinical supervision to basic grade social workers and/or students Have excellent communication, time management skills and the ability to work in a self directed manner.
Have the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
