We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graduate Data Centre Technician (Mandarin speaker) to join our team on a dynamic cloud delivery project for a 12-month PAYE contract, onsite in Citywest, Dublin. In this role, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring successful hardware installation and configuration for our partners.

Key Responsibilities:
4. Diagnose and resolve cable connection and hardware faults associated with cloud infrastructure.
5. Perform root-cause analysis to identify and address technical issues.
6. Track and follow-up on reported faults to ensure timely resolution.
7. Guide partner subcontractors in initializing IT devices (servers, switches, etc.) adhering to design specifications.
8. Conduct thorough inspections based on subcontractor logs, guaranteeing all configurations meet project requirements.
9. Support other on-site activities as needed.
10. Maintain clear and consistent communication with data center personnel on hardware installation progress and quality.
11. Work effectively within a team environment, fostering collaboration and a positive work ethic.
Requirements:
12. Knowledge in server operation and maintenance, network management, and data center management.
13. Understanding of x86 server architecture and basic principles of network devices is essential.
14. Knowledge of virtualization architecture and experience with virtualization platforms (preferred) and Huawei devices (a plus).
15. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for efficient documentation and reporting.
16. Excellent communication skills in Putonghua or Mandarin, with strong written and spoken English abilities.
17. Experience in public cloud companies is a plus.
