DPS Engineering are seeking a CAD Technician for a multinational pharmaceutical assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork.
Responsibilities:
* Manage updates to all site drawings including Civil, Mechanical, P&ID, Electrical and architectural in line with business continuity needs.
* Provide guidance and advice to project and site personnel to ensure adherence with site draughting requirements.
* Proactively manage all existing site drawings and related engineering systems to maintain the information in a current, accurate status.
* Provide assistance as necessary to identify engineering components from site drawings and physical walkdown of plant to facilitate mark-ups of drawings.
* Co-ordinate with engineering personnel and maintenance teams to manage ongoing systems for identification of assets and facilities in an efficient manner.
* Develop and/or maintain spreadsheets and schedules for existing site assets and ongoing project works.
* Maintain systems and procedures for control of site drawings and related documentation.
* Conduct dimensional checks to verify drawing detail as necessary.
* Interact with ongoing project teams to ensure delivery of drawings and supporting documentation in line with site procedures and practices.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a multi-discipline environment.
* Candidate must have successfully completed a third level Engineering qualification. Level 6 or higher preferred.
* Proficient in application of draughting principles and use of AutoCAD. (CAD qualification for minimum 2D.)
* Experience working on and interacting with project personnel on a daily basis.
* Knowledge and experience of GMP requirements in a regulated industry.
