We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Delivery Lead / Engagement Lead to join our client. In this role, you will spearhead new approaches to technology delivery, working closely with RH customers in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) and utilizing Agile methodologies and Open Practice Library (OPL) practices. You will lead high-performing teams, coach and mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in technology change and software delivery processes. This role requires frequent collaboration with customer teams, management of complex delivery projects, and a focus on Agile and DevOps maturity.
Tasks
* Technology Delivery Leadership: Incept and implement new approaches to technology delivery, utilizing Agile methodologies and open ways of working with Red Hat customers.
* Team Enablement: Foster high-performing teams consisting of Red Hat, customer, and partner colleagues, ensuring continuous assessment and improvement of delivery processes.
* Coaching & Mentorship: Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to individuals and teams, helping them improve their Agile and DevOps maturity with context-specific advice.
* Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate workshops to clarify engagement objectives, prioritize engagement-specific outcomes, and demonstrate progress by showcasing working products alongside the engagement team.
* Customer Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for ongoing customer delivery, ensuring successful project execution and alignment with customer goals.
* Delivery Planning & Execution: Collaborate with customers to design, plan, and execute delivery plans, providing guidance on complex and large-scale engagements to achieve successful outcomes.
* Residency Management: Serve as the Engagement Lead for Residencies, including planning and managing residency activities, process management, team building, and mentoring customers throughout the engagement.
* Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends, new approaches, and emerging best practices, contributing to Red Hat's thought leadership and evolving delivery methodologies.
* Cross-Functional Management: Manage and prioritize multiple work streams and value streams, addressing dependencies and potential conflicts between teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in Agile methodologies, Agile coaching, and delivery management.
* Expertise in Executive coaching, roadmapping, and value stream mapping.
* Demonstrated success in managing complex delivery projects in FSI or similar environments.
* Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, handling priority conflicts, and facilitating effective decision-making.
* Strong background in managing Agile and DevOps transformations, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. Skills:
* Ability to lead teams through complex engagements while ensuring continuous improvement and successful outcomes.
* Deep understanding of the Open Practice Library (OPL) and its application in improving technology delivery and team collaboration.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong facilitation and conflict resolution abilities.
* Capability to work effectively with multiple value streams and cross-functional teams. Other:
* Willingness to travel to Ireland (Dublin and/or Cork) twice a month.
* Ability to manage long-term engagements (1+ year) and foster long-lasting customer relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in Financial Services Industry (FSI) or similar high-stakes, highly regulated environments.
* Familiarity with Red Hat tools, methodologies, and consulting practices is a plus.
