Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping for daily transactions.
2. Process invoices, payments, and expenses.
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
4. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
5. Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting.
6. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and payroll taxes.
7. Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
8. Assist with financial audits and liaise with accountants.
9. Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a service-based business.
2. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
3. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and bookkeeping best practices.
4. Excellent numerical and organisational skills.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
6. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers, clients, and accountants.
7. Experience in a small business environment is a plus.
