Technical Service Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Service Manager to join a well-established supplier of medical, surgical, and electrosurgical equipment.
The Role:
* Oversee a team of 5-6 engineers and two service coordinators responsible for maintaining a wide range of medical equipment.
* Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications.
* Manage unplanned breakdowns effectively.
* Build strong relationships with hospital personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of engineers, a service coordinator, and an equipment coordinator.
* Maintain high levels of customer support.
* Ensure engineers are trained on technical best practices.
* Collaborate with suppliers to stay updated on new testing methods and technical updates.
The Ideal Candidate:
* At least 5 years of experience in the medical device industry (strongly preferred).
* Proven experience managing a service team (major advantage).
* Strong electromechanical field service engineering background.
