About the Role
We are on a mission to scale from a small business to a midsize business; over the next 5 years, we are targeting to triple in size. The role reports directly to the managing director, is supported by our external financial accountants and will be part of the management team. The Role will encompass all aspects of accounting and financial challenges that a small business encounters along the way. The key focus is optimising processes, leveraging technology, transforming the function from manual activities to end-to-end automation, and enabling the company to scale and increase the operating maturity level of the financial capabilities to support our mission.

The Responsibilities
1. Accurate processing of Purchases, Sales, Billing, Expenses & Banking
2. Debtors, Creditors, Credit Card & Bank Reconciliation
3. Recurring Revenue Cost Management
4. Stock, Licensing & Subscriptions Tracking
5. Staff Time to Customer Contract Reconciliation
6. Journals, Accruals, Prepayments
7. Direct Debits & Electronic Payments Platform Management
8. Draft Management Accounts Monthly, Quarterly & Annually
9. Draft Reports including P&L, BS, CSF, AR, AP
10. Consolidated Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland Entities
11. Carryout Cost Accounting analysis to help drive margin
12. Develop robust and scalable Processes & Procedures
13. Ensuring financial controls are effective and appropriately applied
14. Work with External Accountant on Payroll/VAT/Companies Office
15. Utilise QuickBooks Online, Fathom, SharePoint, Autotask
16. Adoption of Industry Frameworks SLI/SLIQ

The Requirements:
We have some caveats; please understand that these are critical to the Role before applying.
1. 2+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
2. Qualified or Part Qualified Accountancy Qualification
3. Small Business Experience
4. Proficient in Cloud Accounting Software such as Xero/QuickBooks
5. Excellent Communication Skills - Written & Verbal
6. Proven Ability to Work with a Team
7. Committed to Personal & Professional growth
This is Not a Remote Role – It requires Working full-time from our Office.
