As an Assistant Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and talented teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. In this role you will:
* As part of our graduate programme, you will join our highly skilled and experienced Cost Management team working in exciting innovative sectors with some of the world's most prestigious companies.
* Gain exposure to best-in-class Cost Management tools and processes within a large-scale construction project.
* Assist in pre-contract, tender process management and post-contract activities and support with the creation of estimates and cost plans covering all construction project costs.
* Develop your knowledge of estimating and life cycle costing.
* Participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through to analysis and reporting.
* Develop your knowledge of bill of quantities and sub-contract packages.
* Assist with document control and complete functions on CostX.
* Assist with analysis & reporting on tenders, schedule out tender returns. Carry out data input and arithmetical checks.
* Develop your knowledge of Contract Documentation and assist in document control Post-Contract Actions.
* Attend site meetings & design team meetings in a learning capacity.
