A leading heavy maintenance facility in Ireland, established in 2022 to support Ryanair's Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet. Located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co. Clare, the facility employs skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff.
As part of our growth strategy, we are recruiting for a Technical Training Instructor to join our Engineering Training department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical training to engineering staff, promoting training, and maintaining high industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Training Delivery:
1. Delivery of all inductions/technical training associated with business needs across airlines within the Group.
2. Specialized Type Training delivery.
3. Part 145 theoretical and practical training.
4. Health and Safety based courses.
2. Instructor Material Development: Creation of course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with EASA regulations and regular review of relevant procedures/regulations.
4. Training Delivery Methods: Development and approval of training materials using classroom, eLearning, Virtual etc.
5. Practical Training: Delivery of technical training in a hands-on manner.
6. Training Center Maintenance: Ensuring the training centers remain up-to-date and effective for learning enhancements.
We seek an experienced individual with a passion for aviation and teaching. The ideal candidate should have expertise in aircraft technical training or engineering and be willing to learn, provide new ideas, and interact openly with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.
Requirements:
1. Aircraft engineering experience.
2. Forklift (RTITB), MEWP (IPAF), or other Health & Safety qualifications.
3. Regulatory compliance review experience.
4. Meticulous nature and ability to escalate issues and find solutions.
5. Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
6. Working knowledge of Office 365 and willingness to learn new software tools.
7. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
8. Open-mindedness, eagerness to learn new skills, and ability to bring new ideas to the team.
9. Strong work ethic, responsibility for own work, and completion in a timely manner.
10. Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Valid EU passport.
13. Willingness to travel frequently.
14. EASA B1 License advantageous.
