Assistant Accountant - East Cork - Permanent
Primary Job Function of Assistant Accountant
To assist with the Admin and Accounts work of the Finance department.
Duties included in this role as Assistant Accountant
* Handling Customer & Vendor setup forms
* Intrastat & VIES returns
* Bank reconciliations
* Fixed asset register & depreciation
* Weekly invoice/credit note run
* Issuing statements and aged debt report
* Monthly sales reps report
* Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Assistance with the annual audits and ISO
The ideal candidate:
* Min 5+ years’ experience in a similar role as an assistant accountant.
* Coming from an SME Environment.
* Part qualified and or studying towards accountancy exams.
* Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an advantage.
