Job Description
A Mechanical/Electrical Technician is sought by a large manufacturing organization, part of a global multi-billion-euro conglomerate.
Responsibilities:
* Complete assigned Preventative Maintenance work.
* Lead in meeting plant electrical/mechanical efficiency KPIs.
* Provide top-class service as part of the engineering team to ensure smooth plant operation.
* Carry out maintenance jobs for the shift and contribute to achieving electrical/mechanical efficiency targets.
* Determine risks and opportunities related to breakdowns and root cause analysis.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and regulations.
* Focus on overall site requirements from production, NPD, trials perspectives.
* Carry out equipment modifications and propose ideas to improve efficiencies.
* Provide line cover during production runs and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist in training new or upskilling current members of the Engineering / Maintenance team.
Requirements:
1. Hold a relevant Trade qualification and/or Engineering Degree.
2. Have at least 2 years maintenance experience.
3. Possess strong overall knowledge of Industrial machinery.
4. Be knowledgeable in carrying out PM tasks outlined in the maintenance program.
5. Demonstrate 'hands-on' experience dealing with manufacturing equipment from a maintenance perspective.
6. Hold good knowledge of the production process.
7. Possess strong technical skills.
8. Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
9. Identify potential problems, suggest solutions, evaluate them, and implement in a timely manner.
10. Work effectively as part of a team.
11. Maintain good interpersonal skills.
12. Communicate proficiently.
13. Develop good overall PC skills.
