Assistant Night Manager – Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport
We have a fantastic new vacancy for an Assistant Night Manager in the excellent Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport.
Please note the hours of this position are 10:30pm to 7am, 5 days per week. Applicants must be eligible to work these hours.
Objective of Role:
Through the consistent delivery of the highest standards, promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotel’s targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the Night Manager with operations of the Nights team.
* Ensure operations are carried out in line with department and hotel standards while providing quality service to our guests in accordance with statutory and health and safety requirements.
* Provide all guests with a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.
* Anticipate guests' needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction.
* Carry out departmental standards in accordance with the SOP Manual.
* Maintain the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance, body language, and conduct.
* Report all accidents, incidents, and suspicious occurrences to the relevant personnel and assist in providing all relevant backup.
* Familiarize and adhere to all hotel rules and regulations, specifically regarding fire procedures, health and safety, and security regulations.
* Carry out the Night Audit.
* Assist in positively promoting sales within the department and maximize every sales opportunity.
* Oversee the standard of meeting rooms for the next business day.
* Assist in controlling departmental costs within the standards set by the departmental manager.
* Ensure the security of cash, stock, and equipment while adhering to all agreed departmental/hotel procedures.
Requirements:
* 6 - 12 months experience in a similar role.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to oversee and delegate work to others.
* A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
