Taoiseach Simon Harris recently opened our new Dublin office, and we have now also moved to a new city center office in Belfast.
As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking Senior Electrical Engineers with experience in the water industry to join us. We are flexible with location so the position can be based in Dublin, Belfast or elsewhere.
You will be involved in the whole project life cycle from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and construction support including site surveys and investigations. In line with our Communities of Practice approach, there are opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects including in water, wastewater, energy, infrastructure and environmental sectors.
As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will hold responsibility for working and liaising with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community. You will understand how water treatment processes operate and be experienced in assessing the existing electrical and ICA infrastructure to develop and deliver the EICA design.
Stantec provide a number of opportunities to learn and develop from colleagues across the whole UK business. You will also have the opportunity to help develop the group by acting as a mentor, line manager or guide to less experienced members within the team.
About you You will be an Electrical Engineer with design experience and working toward (or already achieved) Chartership with IMechE.
You will be experienced in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports and be familiar with collaborative reviews and designs of solutions.
You will be able to produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams as well as providing engineering input to collaborative design outputs, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
