OH Medical are currently recruiting for a Chief Medical Officer based in the Dublin area working for a national in-house organisation. This is a great opportunity for a senior occupational health physician with team management experience to excel and support the implementation of the safety critical aspect of the organisation. This is a permanent role working Monday - Friday office hours.
Responsibilities
1. Provide support for the safety management systems within the organisation.
2. Administer the provision of Health Promotion to all employees via the Health Promotion Unit, which resides within the Occupational Health Unit.
3. Engage with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in the provision of training for Specialist Registrars enrolled in the higher specialist training scheme.
4. Manage all safety critical aspects.
5. Undertake managerial functions as required and lead a team of Medical and administrative staff.
6. Provide expert medical advice to respective stakeholders across the operating companies.
Experience
1. Membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland or equivalent.
2. On the Specialist Register of the Medical Council of Ireland in Occupational Medicine.
3. Primary Qualification in Medicine from a recognised Medical School/University.
4. Accredited Certificate in Traffic Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (desirable).
5. Accredited Trainer for the Higher Specialist Training programme of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (desirable).
6. Track record as an effective teammate with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
7. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Salary & Benefits:
1. Pay: €160,000.00-€180,000.00 per year.
