January 2nd 2025Role Summary As a Local Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a team of Language Data Annotators, ensuring that both accuracy and output are up to our client's standards and requirements.
The project you will be working on involves the improvement of a major Virtual Assistant through data collection and labeling and you will be a key element in our office.
Role ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track team KPIs to measure project progress Monitor and track team time/attendance and attrition ratesAnalyze project data to provide regular performance updates to direct reports, facilitate corrective actions as neededReport progress to client and issues to the TP management; escalate when neededReceive daily client updates and manage direct reports accordinglyManage new hire onboarding (remotely and/or onsite), training, ramp-ups, terminations, and ramp-downs Monitor adherence to work standards and manage potential issues that may ariseHold line management responsibility, ensuring the team is at optimum performance, fully utilized, and receives constructive feedbackManage employee wellbeing and identify ways to retain existing staff; conduct regular personal check-ins and 1-on1s (monthly/quarterly)Resolve basic IT issues and escalate where neededOptimize trackers and local project workflows where possibleProvide Program Manager with productivity and tool time stats for client billingConduct regular security/confidentiality refreshers with direct reports to maintain client standards Coordinate office security measures as needed (e.g.
camera setup, tinted windows) and team building activitiesEnsure the on-site team has everything required to carry out their responsibilities successfullyComplete any other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisorMinimum Bachelor's degree or equivalentMinimum 1-year Project/People Management experience (industry experience a plus) Business English language proficiencyExperience managing AI ML data-related projects (including speech, text and computer vision data collection, data curation, and annotation projects)Experience managing Machine Learning data annotation services, data collection, transcription, and staffingExperience working in a multinational/multicultural virtual working environment Fluency in a language other than English is a plusExceptional communication skills – being able to communicate important updates to clients both verbally and in writingPeople management skills to handle people of various culturesEstablished expertise in project management and methodologiesFlexibility, adaptability, and resilience skills – ready to deal with ambiguityDoes it sound interesting?
