Job Description
A leading manufacturing company seeks a Quality Control (QC) Technician with 1-2 years' industry experience.
The successful candidate will report to the Quality Control Supervisor and be responsible for evaluating and reporting on technical and quality metrics to ensure products meet regulatory and customer requirements.
* Conduct factory production control quality assurance checks for incoming raw materials to finished product, recording and reporting results.
* Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and provide feedback to production teams.
* Collaborate with production teams, process engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Conduct product testing, input data into the database, and analyze quality results to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
* Support Research and Development (R&D) projects, including planning, testing, and reporting.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across departments to drive performance excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Document non-compliance and ensure recorded compliance issues are resolved and corrected.
* Assist with technical administration functions via Q-Pulse as required.
* Ensure the application of 6S principles in all work areas and equipment.
* Support the environmental department with monitoring and testing of water samples across the site.
* Improve product guidelines, documentation, and standard work procedures.
* Assist with external testing requirements for new products.
* Maintain and calibrate testing, measuring, and monitoring equipment according to the company's calibration schedule.
* Conduct Internal Integrated Management System (IMS) audits as part of the company's auditing schedule.
* Promote a culture of quality within the company.
* Deliver quality-related training to process departments as required.
Requirements
* Third-level qualification in a relevant science or engineering discipline or equivalent experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
* Strong track record of teamwork in quality control is essential.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work independently.
* Demonstrate excellent IT skills.
* Creativity, flexibility, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
