Warehouse and Logistics Operative

Due to the continued expansion, a position has become available for a Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator, based in our Dublin office, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role will involve all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics, both internally and externally, with the goal to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
The candidate must also have a full clean driver’s licence and live within the Dublin / Leinster region.
Responsibilities
1. Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
2. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
3. Tracking and communicating order updates to customers
4. Co-ordinating and scheduling on site and off site domestic deliveries
5. Manage all associated paperwork for on site and off site deliveries
6. Co-ordinating the arrival and clearance of shipping containers
7. Scheduling the devanning of shipping containers
8. Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
9. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
10. Report any internal or external stock discrepancies
11. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
12. Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
13. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
14. Collect and deliver urgent orders, as required
Requirements
1. Proven working experience as a Warehouse Operative
2. Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
3. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
4. Good organisational and time management skills
5. Experience in dealing with customs is desirable, but can also be provided
6. Manual handling training is desirable, but can also be provided
7. Current forklift licence is desirable but not necessary as training can be provided
