They are currently looking for an experienced Stores Manager to join their growing Engineering Team. This role will report to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage engineering stores, stock control, and purchasing
2. Ensure critical spares availability and minimize downtime
3. Control and optimize budget spend
4. Lead continuous improvement in stores management and purchasing
5. Maintain accurate stock records and data entry
6. Negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective solutions
7. Implement and maintain 5S and safety standards in stores area
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support engineering operations
9. Manage and develop stores assistant
Required Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in stores/warehouse management, preferably in engineering
2. Strong purchasing and negotiation skills
3. Budget management experience
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Proficiency in CMMS and data management systems
