Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Cyber Risk Analyst to join their cyber governance, risk and compliance (GRC) team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with likely extensions thereafter. This is a hybrid role. The successful candidate will need to attend onsite up to 3 days per week in Dublin 8. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €31.58 per hour based on an annualised salary of €57,677. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. Role and responsibilities: As a Cyber Risk Analyst you will be expected to manage all aspects of cyber risk management, including identifying vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to the operations, information, and assets. This will include analysing and conducting organisational cyber risk assessments and providing recommendations for mitigating cyber risks. This will be conducted by adhering to best practice and standards, including compliance requirements. The role will include supporting the development of a cyber risk management programme of work and a review of current cyber risk management practices. The cyber risk analyst will be expected to report to a number of stakeholder groups on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and the current status of organisational cyber risks. The role will ensure the maximisation of resource expertise in the area of cyber risk management for the duration of the contract. Skills & experience: A track record of 3+ years successfully managing cyber risks within an organisation, preferably (but not necessarily) for a Health Sector Organisation, and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission. Experience of managing cyber risk identification, analysis and assessment and making recommendations on the mitigation of such risks. Experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders in supporting on the identification, analysing, monitoring, and reporting of cyber risks. Experience of the preparation of regular cyber risk management reports for senior management and stakeholders, to include the analysis of emerging cyber threats and horizon scanning reports. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, in particular NIST or ISO 27001. Displays sufficient leadership and a high-level of communication and interpersonal skills, including liaising with multiple stakeholders on cyber risk management and analysis. Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that cyber risks are identified, analysed and reported on appropriately. Collaboration with internal and technical teams to assess the effectiveness of cyber risk security measures. An ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders to ensure timely reporting on cyber risk actions. Demonstrate an ability to support the development and delivery of a cyber risk management programme of work, to include a Cyber Risk Review Board and Cyber Risk Forum. Display a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services, to include a review of current cyber risk management practices. Demonstrate ability to implement and manage change within the area of cyber risk management and analysis. Ability to work with the other ICT units to ensure compliance with the NIS and NIS2 cyber risk management requirement standards. Ability to work with compliance teams to ensure compliance with external security audits. Demonstrates evidence of operational management skills including managing own work and that of others and delegating appropriately within the resources available. Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility and drive out the cyber risk management and analysis function.
