Senior & Principal Quantity Surveyor
Our client, a leading provider of Quantity Surveying, project management, and cost consultancy services, seeks to hire a highly skilled Senior & Principal Quantity Surveyor for their Mullingar site.
About the Role
This is a 5-day office or sit-based position that requires strong leadership skills and expertise in quantity surveying.
* Lead and manage Quantity Surveying across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents, taking into account all relevant factors.
* Monitor costs and cash flow closely, implementing measures to ensure projects stay within budget.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Advising on procurement, risk management, and change control strategies to minimize costs and maximize project efficiency.
* Reviewing project performance regularly to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
* Mentoring junior surveyors, providing guidance and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Managing client relationships effectively, delivering high-quality service and reporting to meet their needs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is preferred but not essential).
* Extensive knowledge of cost planning, estimating, and commercial management principles.
* Proficiency in Cubit software.
* Significant project management experience and people management skills.
