The role is responsible for the development and execution of enhanced reporting and analytic capabilities across the Supply Chain Planning organization, inclusive of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Management.
This role will ensure continuous improvement within the reporting and analytics team and will bring best in class technology solutions to support flawless execution.
This role will ensure that both the regional and global plan community has effective key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to drive the Supply Chain performance.
This role will work directly with leadership, IT, and the business to develop and deploy next generation reporting and analytics capabilities.
This role will ensure reliable KPI reporting, lead further expansion of analytic platforms, continuously drive capability improvements to turn data into business insights.
This role will drive operational efficiencies and support transformational projects when needed.
This role will also be key in driving the strategy supporting Plan input into a common Vision Supply Chain data/reporting architecture, and in promoting advanced planner knowledge and self-service capabilities around ad hoc data analysis.
Key Responsibilities: * Lead a team of analysts in developing and executing comprehensive analytics workflows and dashboards, in alignment with business partners on key priorities and reporting requirements.
* Act as a key leader in proactively identifying opportunities and challenges within the business where robust analytical solutions can support organizational success * Develop and lead a community of practice for analytics, within the business teams.
Identify and support individuals to develop as advanced data/reporting users to help drive R&A maturity across the organization.
* Identify, activate, and leverage opportunities across other franchises within Johnson & Johnson for key reporting needs.
* Support the development of the future analytics technology roadmap and assess opportunities to drive operational efficiencies (for example, consolidation of platforms, adopting new technologies).
* Ensure business adoption of new metrics and standards.
* Partner with IT and other segments to develop business solutions that enhance visualization and virtualization capabilities of metrics and processes.
* Drive continuous capability improvement.
This includes continuous process improvement, benchmarking with internal and external business to identify and implement best practices.
* Lead transformational projects to improve KPI delivery and business insights.
* Develop analytics solutions for deployment by global process owners, including new analytics capabilities (e.g., OMP / advanced planning system reporting).
* Ensure analytic platforms are reliable and timely.
Timely publication of performance dashboards, including business insights towards senior management.
* Define and execute the strategy for enhancements of current platforms (Tableau, Alteryx, MS Access), existing business intelligence solutions, and data models / infrastructure.
Key Relationships: This position will work closely with various Supply Chain stakeholders including but not limited to: * All levels of the Plan function.
* Make, Deliver, Source, SI&D, Product Management or other SC leaders.
* Enterprise groups (EPEx, SCDM, SCSS, JJT, among others).
Qualifications: Education: * Bachelor's degree required with preference in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering.
Advanced degree / MBA preferred.
* Lean / 6 Sigma / FPX or equivalent certifications preferred.
* APICS certification preferred.
* Other certifications in areas of expertise desirable.
Experience: * Minimum eight years of relevant experience required.
* Experience successfully implementing change across an organization with cross functional stakeholders required.
* Experience working with a global and multi-functional team in a highly matrixed environment is required.
* Expert experience with data (acquisition) platforms and visualization (EDG / EDL, Azure Data Bricks, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL) is required.
* End-to-end Supply Chain knowledge and how metrics drive results preferred.
* Professional experience in Supply Chain Planning systems (for example, OMP) & ERP systems (for example, SAP) with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes preferred.
* Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access.
