ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT/ADMINISTRATOR
Based in Co Galway - Own transport essential.
The successful candidate will be part of a busy finance team in a civil engineering company. The role entails supporting the finance department with administration and account tasks. Previous experience in a finance administration role is essential.
Duties to include but not limited to:
* Downloading and printing supplier invoices from a shared mailbox.
* Coding/inputting supplier invoices/credit notes to accounts system.
* Approving Stg and Euro supplier invoices for payment in a high-volume environment.
* Entering data on Excel spreadsheets.
* Processing weekly supplier payment run.
* Collating and processing monthly credit card payments.
* Providing cover for annual leave.
* General administration and support to the accounts payable team.
Skills required:
* Previous experience in a finance administration role is essential.
* Accounts Payable experience.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Team player with a can-do attitude.
* Attention to detail with a strong work ethic is important.
* Strong data entry skills.
