Job Summary:
The Senior Food Safety and Quality Manager will assist the technical manager in ensuring that site technical requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve a HACCP-based Quality Management System, adhering to industry best practices, customer requirements, BRC, third-party/legislative regulations, and recommendations.
* Coordinate and manage the HACCP team and activities.
* Support the New Product Development (NPD) Function in creating successful new products/processes through specifications, product information, reference samples, photographs, Use By schedules, proofing specifications, artwork verification, etc.
* Monitor factory cleaning and housekeeping and hygiene standards through first-hand auditing on the factory floor and analysis of audit reports, developing action strategies based on repeated or trending non-conformances.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Contribute to cleaning specification development.
* Provide technical guidance, training, and support to other departments, promoting awareness and understanding of technical issues.
* Maintain the HACCP plan under responsibilities.
* Ensure the team is adequately trained and effective.
* Report factory measurable outcomes to the site team.
* Ensure Health and Safety policy implementation and adherence.
* Adhere to audit timetables.
Requirements:
* Experience as a QA Manager in the food industry.
* Management and delivery of KPI improvement experience.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team and delegate instructions effectively.
* Self-motivation, constant pressure management, and achievement of consistently high results.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Initiative, self-motivation, organization, and assertiveness.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
