What is the Role:
Mortgages IT designs, delivers and supports changes to the platforms that power the Bank’s end to end Mortgage services – from origination -> fulfilment -> lifecycle mgt. This includes our Online Digital Journey, MyMortgage App and our own internal application suite. Alongside our business as usual change, we are continuing on an exciting journey to modernise and transform these platforms - reinforcing AIB’s position as an innovative, digital and streamlined organisation that puts the customer first in everything we do. As Delivery Lead you will be responsible for helping squads to deliver best-in-class technical solutions & key strategic changes within the Homes Tribe roadmap.
Key accountabilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated professional who wants to progress their career and to play a pivotal role within a dynamic change agenda across a range of existing and emerging technologies. Leading a number of cross-functional squads across our Homes teams, the successful candidate will help drive our Mortgage strategy and create best in class customer experiences across our Mortgage Banking platforms.
Reporting to the Homes domain lead, you will be responsible for the co-creation and delivery of end to end solutions to our customers. Having an accomplished track record of working with a range of contemporary software delivery methodologies, you will help drive our agile collaborative culture with a focus on continuous improvement and scaling out our experience delivery capability.
What you Will Bring:
* 5+ years’ enterprise technology and change experience. Specific Mortgage Banking delivery related experience would be a benefit.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences at senior levels within the bank.
* Broad understanding of Application, Information and Infrastructure technologies & practices.
* Contribute to the continuous enhancement and improvement of the Mortgages design & engineering function.
* Experienced in working collaboratively with IT partners (nearshore and offshore) and in vendor/product environment.
* Good leadership and negotiation skills with ability to build productive working relationships with internal teams, management staff and external stakeholders.
