Job Description
We are looking for an experienced GIS Analyst to join our Irish GIS Team for a 15-month FTC. The role will be based out of offices in Cork or Tullamore.
As a GIS Analyst, you will provide GIS services and support to various departments within Statkraft. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Irish Project pipeline comprising of onshore wind, offshore wind, solar and grid services projects.
* Creating maps for our projects, including land, leases, wayleaves and environmental data.
* Working with constraints analysis, querying and filtering relevant data.
* Maintaining and developing interactive web and mapping applications.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced GIS Analyst with the following skills:
* University degree or post graduate GIS Diploma.
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
* Experience in creating maps and visual data for projects.
* Knowledge of basic GIS packages, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS Earth, Field maps, Survey 123 and interactive web applications.
