Productivity (Monitoring) Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Productivity Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Dublin. Owing to the nature of the projects, the role will suit someone with experience of managing organisational transformation and in efficiency analysis on large scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development
* Develop and implement a fit for purpose resource capacity and efficiency analysis plan to meet the resourcing needs of a large complex programme of work encapsulating design and engineering, project controls, project management and procurement and contracts teams.
* Monitor and report on the implementation of the strategy.
Monitoring and Reporting
* Establish and implement a resource efficiency and productivity monitoring strategy, with the assistance of the project management office, to regularly assess productivity, redundancy, capacity and risks associated with the service provided by teams.
* Generate insight from the data captured which will allow for actions and interventions to maintain the effectiveness of the teams against organisational and project objectives.
Team/Organisational Engagement
* Engage with teams to understand service risks and opportunities in which long term resource pipeline strategies can be established.
* Support the retention and/or controlled scaling up/down of resources in keeping with the project service demands.
* Support teams undergoing a transformation phase
Resourcing Activities
* Support the efficient transfer of resources to other roles in the project or back into the organisation to facilitate a high utilisation metric.
Collaboration and Coordination
* Work closely with various teams to ensure efficient coordination of resource mobilization efforts.
Qualifications
Educational Background
* A Master’s degree in International Development, Strategic Management, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
* At least ten years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of three years in a senior role.
* Proven ability to engage with the client and a diverse range of delivery partners.
Skills
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Strong leadership, coordination, and relationship-building abilities.
* Knowledge of development issues and strategies.
* Process driven approach to managing data and information with 3+ years relevant experience.
Additional Skills
* Monitoring and evaluation practices.
* Has experience in the large scale mobilisation and/or demobilization of teams to meet demand.
