Job Summary
This role is part of our Abbott Diabetes Care division based in Donegal Town, where we manufacture FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for diabetes management. As a member of our team, you'll contribute to developing automated solutions, collaborating with analytics teams, and designing efficient data pipelines.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop automated solutions addressing specific analytical objectives and facilitating report generation and distribution.
* Maintain advanced SQL skills and optimize database queries for performance and understanding of database structure.
* Collaborate with analytics teams and business users to identify requirements and develop data products meeting their needs.
* Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines serving applications and stakeholders.
* Establish and maintain data quality checks and verifications ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Software engineering etc.) preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Experience with AWS cloud services preferred.
* Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, JMP, or similar.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive base salary and potential for growth within our company. The estimated salary range for this position is €60,000 - €80,000, depending on location and experience.
