We now wish to recruit a Project Engineer to support project activities at one of our client sites in the Cork area. You would be joining a very busy PM Group project team where there is a wide range of on-going projects. To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.
Responsibilities
1. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with our clients
2. Effectively communicating with both internal & external stakeholders
3. Establishing project objectives in line with our clients and ensure goals & timelines are achieved
4. Execution of projects via the PM Group Quality and Management systems
5. Responsible for projects technical and commercial delivery
6. Develop & implement appropriate project execution strategies
7. Establish project resource requirements and lead motivate the project team
8. Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations
9. Develop & maintain project budgets
10. Manage development of project plans and schedules with focus on achievement of project goals
11. Provides project status updates / reports
Qualifications
Ideally you will have the following:
1. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Project Management/Engineering of small to medium capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning
2. An excellent record in Health & Safety.
3. A third level degree is preferably in Process or Mechanical Engineering or similar
4. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle.
The following would be a further advantage:
1. An advanced qualification in Project Management
