Project Manager for Nordic Data Centre Projects
We have a strong data centre project pipeline over the next 5 years in the Nordic Region, predominantly Sweden & Finland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management of secured projects.
* Assist with design and coordination between clients and contractors, including architects, consultants, steel, and cladding contractors.
* Develop and manage detailed project delivery schedules and work plans.
* Ensure quality control procedures are implemented in line with manufacturer guidelines and liaise with clients to ensure client usability and operability is in line with the product's intended use.
* Client relationship management.
* Liaise with senior management team.
* Track project progress and costs rigorously and mitigate potential risks.
* Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
* Interact with clients, interpret their needs and requirements.
* Create frameworks to measure project metrics and collect data.
* Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
* Prepare technical submittals following detailed project approval processes.
* Complete health and safety documentation as required.
* Assist on-site works such as snagging, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard.
Key Candidate Requirements:
* Third-level engineering qualification, preferably mechanical, electrical, or building services.
* 5+ years of project management and related experience.
* Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines.
* Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
Key Knowledge:
* Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
* CAD.
* BIM/REVIT.
Key Skills:
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
* Responsibility for follow-up on actions based on various team projects.
* High organization and time management skills in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using good judgment and initiative.
* Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Work independently without regular direct supervision.
