Job Summary
The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for Production Chemicals & Services (PCS) is a key role within the Biologicals and Chemicals Division sales organization of the BioProduction Group. This technical position focuses on building strategic relationships with customers to drive revenue growth and develop new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Searches for new business opportunities and utilizes product portfolio to build a foundation for long-term growth
* Drives existing pipeline to accelerate closure rates and improve profitability
* Applies intelligence-based prospecting to identify potential opportunities and prioritize them effectively
* Collaborates with Bioproduction Account Managers (BAMs) and Field Application Specialists (FAS) to develop account growth strategies and improve adoption rates
* Establishes and builds relationships with key decision-makers and identifies technical buyers
* Provides post-sales product support and resolves customer complaints or inquiries to ensure excellent customer experience
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a life-science related field, such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering
* At least 2 years of sales experience in the bioproduction process, preferably with CRM experience and customer-facing visits
* Strong understanding of customer challenges and solution development, as well as knowledge of Miller-Heiman sales technique
