About the Role
This is a contract position for an initial 9-12 month duration with the possibility of extension.
You will work as part of a larger estates team who report to the Senior Maintenance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise compliance with all relevant current regulations and legislation, with particular emphasis on Health and Safety.
* Carry out regular visits to properties in relation to day-to-day maintenance problems and planned maintenance programmes.
* Inspect, supervise and instruct Contractors of various disciplines in relation to the quality of work in progress.
Requirements
* HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical studies.
* Experience of day-to-day organisation and operation of statutory compliance across a medium to large estate.
* Liaising with contractors to ensure statutory compliance KPIs are met.
* Ability to work with a wide range of professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Flexibility to meet changing demands and prioritise as required.
