National Account Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious National Account Manager to join our team. As a leading Irish FMCG Organisation, we operate within the Private Label area and have experienced strong growth.
Responsibilities
* Develop and Negotiate Annual Plans: Collaborate with key retail customers to establish Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA).
* Reporting and Analysis: Provide weekly sales and profitability updates on account initiatives.
* Action Planning: Liaise with Senior Management to develop plans that align with annual account goals and company strategic objectives.
* Pricing Model Development: Create product pricing models for customer tender submissions.
* Forecast Planning: Work closely with planning, NPD, and logistics teams on forecast planning.
* Cost Management: Manage costs associated with doing business with key accounts.
* Relationship Building: Develop relationships with trading, supply chain, and store managers at a local level.
* NPD Delivery: Collaborate with production and quality departments for timely delivery of new products to key accounts.
Key Skills and Experience
* National Accounts Experience: 4-7 years of experience in national accounts management is essential, with a focus on the FMCG sector.
* Account Management: Ability to manage numerous key accounts and allocate time effectively between small, medium, and large accounts.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong numeric and commercial skills to proactively manage major accounts and maintain product margin.
* Communication: Excellent communication and presentational skills, proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
