Occupational Health & Wellbeing Teacher Part-time, Online, Dublin 2
CMI is offering an exciting opportunity to join our teaching team and work as a part-time teacher on our professional Occupational Health & Safety Diploma and Certificate qualifications. This role is ideal for experienced health and safety practitioners who can devote one to two evenings a week to teach online.
All new teachers receive full training and comprehensive guidance on correcting student work. A comprehensive range of quality teaching materials is provided alongside the training. The ideal candidate must enjoy teaching/training and sharing their knowledge. Eligible candidates should check they meet the eligibility criteria listed for this role.
Classes are held through live online sessions on the CMI learning platform, one to two nights per week on Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings, from 18:30 to 21:30.
The units cover:
* Strategic Commitment to Health and Well-Being
* Evaluating the strategy and policy for a business to develop commitment to an integrated health, well-being, and safety strategy.
* Understanding the range of occupational health and well-being challenges that affect the safety and welfare of employees, the reputation and standing of the business, and the relative threats.
Eligibility Criteria:
* 10+ years of experience as a Health, Wellbeing & Safety practitioner or Manager.
* A relevant Degree or Master's qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
* Graduate or Chartered Member of IOSH preferred.
* Copies of health and safety qualifications will be required.
* 1-2 years of prior teaching experience is desirable but not mandatory.
* Candidates must have fast broadband either in their home or workplace (more than 5 Mbps upload and download).
